Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I know what it is to suffer emotional pain, the endless feeling of despair, thinking it will never end and to come out the other side feeling good in my life.
Looking at myself, my life and my patterns and doing what I could to get myself to a better place was a journey well worth taking.
Qualifications
I am an Accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist I am a member of A.C.I. (Addiction Counsellors of Ireland) and abide by their code of ethics and practice of counsellors.
In addition to my professional training with Cuan Mhuire treatment centres I have worked for over twenty years in the field of addictions.
How I Work
My practise is located on the outskirts of Kilkenny in the South East of Ireland. My style of counselling combines Person Centred Therapy with some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
Throughout this therapeutic relationship the actual length of time is different for everyone. It depends on many factors which we will discuss and decide together. We will also decide together how our work is progressing and when it is complete.
